AI-startup Imagimob adds new investor and accelerates expansion

Imagimob, a leading provider of real time artificial intelligence (AI) technology on the edge, adds a new investor. The new investor will allow Imagimob to accelerate its investments in R&D, intellectual property and international marketing and sales.

The new investor is Permak AB, an investor company owned by the Göran Grosskopf family. Göran Grosskopf is a Dr and Professor of Laws. He has been the Chairman of the board in companies such as IKEA and Tetra Laval International, and is currently serving as the Chairman of the Board at Peab AB.

“We think Imagimob has a great team, a great technology and acts in a very interesting part of the market. We have the intention to be a long term investor in Imagimob”, says Per Grosskopf, Chairman of the Board in Permak AB.

“We have strong momentum with a number of recent customer wins, and this new investment allows us to accelerate our expansion. The Grosskopf family brings capital, competence, experience and networks to Imagimob", says Anders Hardebring, CEO and Co-Founder at Imagimob.

Imagimob’s external investors include Stockholm Business Angels (Stoaf), Permak AB and a number of private investors.
