New Features and Enhancements

Build Object Detection models in DEEPCRAFT™ Studio
You can now build object detection models within DEEPCRAFT™ Studio, starting from real-time data collection and labeling, all the way through to model training, evaluation and deployment.

• Bring your own image data in different label formats such as PASCAL VOC, COCO, and YOLO or collect and label images in real-time using the Studio. To know more, refer to Bring your own data for object detection projects and Real-Time Image data collection and labeling using camera.
• Train your object detection models using the lightweight and efficient YOLOv5n architectures. To know more, refer to Training Object Detection Model.
• Evaluate your models in real-time or leverage a variety of built-in evaluation techniques to evaluate model performance. To know more, refer to Evaluating Object Detection model.
• Generate code for your object detection models using ModusToolbox™ ML Configurator, refer to Code Generation for Vision Model.
• Deploy the model using the PSOC™ Edge MCU: DEEPCRAFT™ deploy vision Code Example in ModusToolbox™, refer to Deploy Vision Model on PSOC™ Edge boards.

Real-time data streaming for PSOC™ Edge E84 AI Kit and PSOC™ Edge E84 Evaluation Kit

Flash PSOC™ Edge E84 AI Kit with the streaming firmware and stream real-time data from microphone, IMU, magnetometer, pressure-temperature, humidity-temperature and radar sensors into DEEPCRAFT™ Studio. You can collect data from multiple sensors on the kit at different rates concurrently. However, you must collect data from radar sensor independently, without concurrent data collection from any other sensors. Flash PSOC™ Edge E84 Evaluation Kit with the streaming firmware and stream real-time data from microphone, IMU and magnetometer into DEEPCRAFT™ Studio. ModusToolbox™ Integration

We provide a bidirectional integration between DEEPCRAFT™ Studio and ModusToolbox™ that enables an end‑to‑end workflow for PSOC™ Edge boards. The integration offers creation of ModusToolbox™ project from DEEPCRAFT™ Studio, transfer generated code from DEEPCRAFT™ Studio to ModusToolbox™ project for seamless deployment, and open DEEPCRAFT™ Studio projects directly from ModusToolbox™. Advanced optimization for PSOC™ Edge M55+U55

DEEPCRAFT™ Studio provides some advanced optimization settings that are part of the Vela compiler to generate optimizations for code targeting the Ethos-U55 NPU. These options reduce scratch memory usage with minimal to no impact on model accuracy. Refer to Advanced optimization for PSOC™ Edge M55+U55 to know more.
